I'm trying to wear glasses more often, for eye health and happiness.
Unfortunately, I really can't find a nice pair I like.
In the meantime, I got a pair from the 39 dollar glasses website to tide me over. And, they look like 39 dollar eyeglasses. Well, ok, maybe 89 dollar ones.
They are incredibly chunky and bookish. And a tad too big. But the look's starting to grow on me, in an uber-nerdy, funny kind of way. As if someone casting a low-budget film needed a very obvious prop to let the audience know "This person is a scientist/smart/bookish."
And I just realized that, yeah, I actually wear a lab coat and carry a clipboard sometimes. Hee. I may start laughing at myself, if I pass my reflection, spontaneously creating bad sci-fi action-adventure plots in my mind.
I haven't been able to locate my digi cam, so this description is all you get. For now.

So there was this show on hmmm...Etv maybe...about geeks. and one of the geeks it referred to was the chick geek who became the uber hot chick when she whipped off those glasses. Perhaps that's you. So...yeah, I agree with Dee.
and yes, I just admitted to watching Etv.
M: Maybe I should wear them for my talk on Friday. Perhaps it'll make my talk seem more INTENSE. And then I can take them off at the end, flip my hair and say, "By the way, I'm, like, totally single."

Well, I think you and I both know someone who would do that in a talk.
Remind me to tell you about the softcore porn movie that was showing while I was in Toronto. She was hot when she took off those glasses. Getting there though was the trouble... one of the better story / plots I've seen in my limited porn watching career.
Jesus, I'm more attractive with my glasses on. Folk cry out and sob when I whisk mine off.
