advice solicitation: cheap international travel, and pronto?

J. gave me the idea to ask the collective you for ideas.

Let's say you're looking for a last minute trip to Barcelona, for approx. a week to 10 days. Travel must take place around the mid/end of July/first week in August. Cheaper is better, naturally. You don't need a hotel. You do not live by a major international airport.

What do you do?

Just wondering. Any advice appreciated.

Thanks in advance, guys.

you fly out of atlanta. leaving your car at my house, or i can come and get you.

if you can't find a cheap flight from ATL to BCN on hotwire or travelocity, then you do what j. told me to do. you go to easy jet and look for connections to bcn and then find a cheap flight between atlanta and that city for cheap. i chose gatwick in london, but england is f$#@ing expensive in july. but it's a place to start.

fly there and then to bcn via easy jet.

jerry exaggerates, but just a little. 5 days is probably perfect. 7 will be too much. jerry knows i love him... but even london is dull after day 6 or so.
