I had a very interesting birthday celebration weekend, from highbrow, to lowbrow, to nobrow. But it's late, so rather than recap it all, how about some bulletpoints?

Lessons learned from this weekend:

* Being blindfolded makes the most ordinary situations positively thrilling.

* Some bars give out free hepatitis vaccines, if you time it right.

*In a public karaoke setting, never let your friends convince you to sing a Lauryn Hill song you've only heard once before. Never.
