how about: yesterday i explained an aspect of my thesis project using a plate as a "cell" and various pieces of indian appetizers to represent different proteins. and today i actually considered making stop-motion films of food moving around on plates in order to represent various cellular processes.

why, that is kind of interesting, now isn't it?
