excerts from email, continued
(one day, an honest post. for now, snippets, with heavy editing.)
me to J (aka loadmito): i just pet some 10 day old rats. they are incredibly cute and fuzzy. like, white peach fuzz. so cute!
J to me: what a great rat blog post!
(in response to sending my sending this article)
J: thanks for sending! .... I actually quite like wired and they go beyond technology and have GREAT feature writing. I had friends tell me about readymade but I've never read it. And I actually kinda like Planet. It reminds me of Bomb but about culture.
me: Readymade aside, I was struck by the single-syllable format of all of these zines. Just like nightclubs...the next hip trend in magazine titles? numbers, naturally. a la business2.0. we'll have... hm... papernumber5? 101zine? mag3000?
now that sounds like a blog post...
the rats are still alive. (i's not using them)
me, again: ps. i'm so blogging this now. you started it.

Readymade is the nemesis of our Nay. She hates them with a fierce, rat-like passion.
I think I'll buy her their new book!
Numbers!
Magazines!
New York Times!

i totally spelled excerpts incorrectly.
